BRINGING OUT THE ARTIST IN CHILDREN WITH AUTISM – 26th April 2024
In conjunction with Autism Awareness-Acceptance Month Majilis Perkhidmatan Masyarakat Sabah collaborated with CHILDSabah to organise a "TRAINING OF TRAINERS" workshop. Workshop facilitator was no other than Jaja Yusof, daughter of legendary and renowned artist Yusof Gajah. The workshop provided a creative platform tailored for children with autism, focusing on embracing artistry rather than seeking perfection.
You dont need to be an artist to teach art, all you need is the passion to want to learn how to. For some of the participants, it was the first time holding a paintbrush!

“MENTAL HEALTH FOR ALL’ SEMPENA SAMBUTAN HARI KESIHATAN SEDUNIA 2023
C.H.I.L.D. Sabah introduced "Healing Bears" at the recent Mental Health for All event organised by Queen Elizabeth Hospital I on October 21, 2023.
Healing Bears is a new program that intends to promote mindfulness and at the same time make known PAPERNATOR Sheltered Workshop project where we have a small recycling team. Healing Bears are made out of recycled paper, moulded and painted.

International Disability Day 2021
In Conjunction with Majlis Perkhidmatan Masyarakat’s Bulan Kebajikan 2021, CHILDSabah was given the task to lead the World Disability Day 2021 event with four other Non Government Organisations in Kota Kinabalu. The Facebook live event, Talent Fest 4 All is a inclusive event where all performers and artistes were invited to send a recording of their performance that will be aired live on Facebook on the night of 3 Dec 2021. The event managed to gain more than 2.4 k views, 231 reactions and 130 shares!
