AIESEC Project 2020

AIESEC Project 2020 CHILD Sabah supporting VOLUNTEERISM in youth. AIESEC is an international volunteer program that empowers young people to make a progressive social impact. Earlier this year, we partnered AIESEC in Curtin Malaysia's SDG 14 (Sustainable Development Goals) - Life Below Water Nature Warrior project that is aimed to save some of Borneo’s underwater eco systems through volunteerism. Our 6 week journey commenced in January, taking us through the beaches of Kudat where we conducted a clean up of the area in hopes of providing a safe sanctuary for our turtles. CHILD Sabah held its 7th sensory friendly movie for individuals with impairments and their families on 19 October 2019 at Golden Screen Cinemas, Suria Sabah Shopping Mall with 88 seats. Sensory-friendly screenings are intended to provide space and opportunity for individuals who have sensory processing disorders to watch a movie in an environment that is sensitive to their needs.
